Background

The City of Walker went through a competitive vendor selection process eventually deciding to go with iCompass because of the easy-to-use, cloud based platform.  Now the organization, just outside of Grand Rapids, has seen major advancements in not just efficiency, but transparency as well; the City’s launch of the CivicWeb Portal has been met with a very positive response from the public and local media.

Key Project Outcomes

• Commissioners are utilizing the AgendaNotes iPad App to more easily review and annotate their packet
• Template setup has reduced the number of errors and omissions on Walker’s agenda packets and minutes
• Launched the CivicWeb Portal to improve transparency – resulting in positive media attention and easier public access to agendas, minutes and records
